Calling all current volunteers, history enthusiasts, and anyone curious about our local heritage! Join us for "Bring a Friend, Share the Past: TRHC Docent Coffee & Conversation," a special morning combining community appreciation, volunteer connection, and a welcoming look into West Marin's unique history.
What to Expect
The morning kicks off with coffee, light refreshments, and informal mixing, providing a warm and welcoming space to connect with neighbors and fellow history buffs over the rich stories of the Shoreline Unified School District region.
A centerpiece of the event features a special presentation by seasoned TRHC volunteer Kip Spragens, who will share personal insights, favorite anecdotes, and a look into what makes being a docent at the History Center such a rewarding experience. We will also host an interactive session offering a quick refresher for seasoned docents alongside a friendly introduction to our current exhibits for prospective volunteers.
Bring a Friend and Share the Past!
We warmly encourage our current docents and attendees to bring a friend, neighbor, or family member who might be interested in local history. This event is designed as a low-pressure, friendly way for prospective volunteers to drop in, learn more about what we do, and discover how they can get involved in preserving and sharing our region's past.
